Every member understands....however, your father did not follow the correct filing procedure as outlined under the NVC process:

- Send a photocopy of all required civil documents to NVC

IMPORTANT: Do not send your original passport or original civil documents such as birth, and marriage certificates. Instead, submit a photocopy of these documents to NVC. However, you must bring these original documents to your visa interview. This is true no matter what method you use to submit documents to NVC

i also told him to send me the ds 260 he said he doesnot have it either so am finished

You don't need the DS-260 form itself but the confirmation page that he was required to print after completing the form. You are going into this process completely uninformed as to what your required to do.

@severus sneap You really need to considering finding professional help from someone who can understand this process.  This a very detail oriented procedure. US consulates are very strict in what is required.  At present, you are not prepared....good luck.

how can u be so rude to people who are trying to help you?!

YOU asked the question and wanted information and help but are not taking any advice from people who actually KNOW what they are talking about!

Gather back the original documents somehow....YOU NEED THE ORIGINALS AT YOUR INTERVIEW

period!!!

. you and your father should do whateber you can to figure this out, or get some legal help instead of arguing and being rude to people who answered your question!

Has your dad really submitted an original birth certificate to NVC??? Looks like this is the only one that you will have issues with but should be fairly easy to get a new one. Also looks like your dad has to send you a bunch of other documents such as:

- A signed Affidavit of Support from your petitioner and any additional financial sponsors who submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of your visa application.  Applicants may bring photocopies and scanned versions of signed Forms I-864 and associated documents. (Please note that the form must still be signed; typed names and electronic signatures will not be accepted.)

Financial evidence showing your petitioner’s income, such as federal tax returns or forms W-2.  If you have any additional financial sponsors, you must bring the same type of financial evidence for them, along with proof of their legal status in the United States.

- Proof of the U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or legal permanent resident card).

Also, you will need to:

- get police clearance certificates from every country you've lived in if you're 16 y.o. or older

- undergo a medical exam and bring results to the interview

- have your birth certificate

- your passport (obviously) - hope your dad hasn't sent it to NVC?

@severus sneap

I am agreed with you. She needs to understand the process. First find out how many papers your dad send to Nvc. I think it's birth certificate and financial documents. Which should be easy to get new one also you can bring photo copy of financial documents to interview. No one can introduced  you to process unless you willing to learn .

the petition will eventually die .

just order new original/certified copies.

how badly do you want to come if you're not willing to even TRY and obtain the things you need? Every day, people all over the world go through the process of gathering the documents they need to move here. While some things are easier/faster to obtain than others, none of it is impossible.

No it won't.  it's an IR2.  the approved I-130 doesn't expire unlike a K1.

I'm afraid it doesn't work like that.  The applicant is responsible for bringing original documents to the interview.

Yes BUT since you and several others posting have missed the fact that we all used to send the NVC our original documents and not photocopies, that the originals are most likely with the rest of the file at the embassy.  The OP could contact the embassy and confirm.

Your simplest solution is that you must have the documents with you.  Reschedule the interview online to a time that allows you enough time to get everything.   But at this point it may be worthwhile to get professional assistance as others have said, because who knows what else wasn’t done correctly.

Better call the NVC pronto.  (603) 334-0700 eastern standard time, open Mon through Fri until midnight.

If you are not able to receive your originals, I'd get on the phone with an immigration attorney.
