When is NOA2 required?

We are at NVC stage and were wondering if we needed a scanned copy of our NOA2 for the NVC documents (we are pivot case)?

If not, when is the NOA2 required? Do we take it with us to the interview?

Nvc does not require the NOA2, nor is it required at the interview.
