I'm certainly not always wise but here's a word to the wise.  Back in 2005 when I first started a relationship with a Chinese woman, I started thinking about "What next?"   Before I even considered taking the relationship seriously, I knew I couldn't move to China to be with her, so I started looking into the process of being together.  I soon learned there were financial and other requirements.  I made sure first that I could see a financial way forward to spend time in person, and also what it was going to take to qualify to bring her to the US.  I'm glad I did that.  It would have been very disappointing to go to China, marry, and only a few months later, find out I didn't qualify to sponsor her.

For the OP, that's water under the bridge.  NOW, is the time to make some hard decisions about how to go forward.

What is the figure on line 22 of the 2017 tax return?  How many in your household.  If you want answers that are meaningful, you must provide meaningful data.

Hello we filed our Permanent Residence but we are requested to provide additional evidence of income for the affidavit of support what is the figure on line 22 should appear in the 2017 tax return in order that my husband be qualified for required income he will support me and my minor son we are both living with him now.

I  guess you can make her jump through hoops...or you can just answer her question...

Answer- Family of 3 125% is $25,975 (unless you live in Hawaii or Alaska or your husband is active military.

Those are the minimums, not necessarily what is actually going to be needed.  I've already answered here question because she's already answered mine.

Yes, those are the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.  NOT meeting them will sink you.  Meeting them is no assurance of success.
