Hi guys, it seems our sibling petition was approved transferred to NVC when did an email inquiry about it at the beginning of August.  Should we just call NVC everyday till we get an NVC case number 

K1 fiance visa NOA1: February 2009

K1 fiance visa NOA2: July 2009

Civil Wedding: October 13, 2009

AOS NOA1: November 1, 2009

AOS NOA2: January 15, 2010

Conditional GC: January 25, 2010

ROC NOA1: November 8, 2011

ROC Bio: December 14, 2011

ROC NOA2: July 31, 2012/Green Card in hand 8/4/2012

N-400; Mailed November 1, 2012

This will just waste a lot of people's time and will not do anything.  If you want an effective inquiry, contact your congressan's immigration liason.

After your case is approved, at least 2-3 months later, NVC will receive your case and send you an email to let you know your Case number.

 

Do not waste your time for calling them everyday while you can send them an inquiry via email.

 

You should register your email to NVC and ask them about your status via this website:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

Check the box "Please update my NVC file with this email address" to register your email.

Type the question: 

- What is the status of my case?

- Please provide Invoice ID.

 

After 2-6 weeks, NVC will reply and let you know about your status.
