  The war games are Russia's annual military event. They are not joining anyone, other countries are joining them. Thus the question would be, what prompted China to join the Russian military exercises? Several new countries involved this year, including Iran. What (who) prompted Iran?

 

  At any rate, joint military exercises between Russia and China are not really a new thing. If you are not used to the occurrence, you have not been paying attention to the region.

Why pay attention when one can just blame the "lefties".

This is actually the largest war games Russia has had in 35 years. It should be clear to anyone paying attention that China is a huge threat to us both economically and militarily and at the very least we are on course to a future war with China if not militarily at least economically. Now wouldn't it be a good idea to have a nation like Russia on our side or at least neutral in this? Unfortunately our president is unable to have meaningful talks with Russia regarding this due to the unfounded Russia collusion hysteria on the left. This has also resulted in sanctions being placed on Russia. Those two things may result in Russia siding with China in the future against us. I wont even get into how years of leftist policies have put us into a position of economic dependence on China.
