Yes

DCF  is quick.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Wait time for K-1 (the whole process from the day you file till the day you're on the plane) takes 8 months or more on average. CR1 is way longer than that, around 17 months I believe. You can check wait times here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

It's a good and pretty much the only way to move to the US for those who want to be with their loved one, and not so good for those who just want to "move to America"

Ive heard about DCF, would it still work if the petitioner lives in the usa and the spouse lives in the UK?

No

About 14 months seems the current norm.

I've heard people applying for k1 and cr1 who live in the UK and want to move to the usa have a very high success rate, is it true? Thanks

Also heard the wait time is quite fast

We filed the K1 in November 2017 and we are still waiting on the NOA2. We were told that the K1 was faster, however I think both have long processing times

London is not that difficult. Don't read too much into stories from people in 3rd world countries. CR1 is not "safer" than K1 as far as being approved for a visa in London. Follow the rules, read instructions,  provide the required paperwork and be patient is all it takes.

Wait times for the the most recent K1s going through London for interview is around 8.5 months.

Thanks :) and by safer i meant that if it gets denied we can appeal against it on a cr1, but with a k1 if it gets denied we cant appeal,at least that is what ive heard

Why does your timeline say you filed October 2014?

You won't be denied unless you have contagious diseases, have a long criminal record,  and are a drug dealing prostitute .🤣😂🤣

That K1 visa was refused. We filed the I-601 waiver for the refusal but that was denied as well. We decided to refile the K1 with the help of an attorney this time. I kept that time line to compare with the filing of this one.

Ah, that changes things. Merely having an interview in London doesn’t have any impact on your success. You are interviewed as an individual and based on your individual circumstances. The high approval rate from London is not because the people live in the UK. It’s a natural result of the statistic that people from economically advanced countries are less likely to commit visa fraud as they would have no real economic advantage moving to the USA under false pretenses. Also TB is less common in the UK than other countries do we don’t see many denials - if any - for that reason.

Since you have previously been denied and a waiver was rejected your case is obviously not as straightforward as most. Curious as to why you re-filed a K-1 and not a CR-1 where you would fall under the category of immediate relative and there is more tolerance towards inadmissibility factors.
