I'm scheduling my K1 Visa interview in Guyana, i need to pay $273 USD, the only form of payment  is cash payments at a local branch of Scotia Bank (that's what the payment letter says). I live in Florida. To my knowledge there is no Scotia Bank here, how would i make this payment?

Are you a petitioner or a beneficiary?

You either can't be living in Florida or can't be applying for K-1 if you're a beneficiary.

If you're a petitioner, your fiance in Guyana needs to schedule the interview and pay the fees in local currency at the bank stated above.

If it's regular for Cubans to apply through Guyana, I'd call the embassy hotline. I'm sure it's a pretty common question. Sorry, can't be much more helpful than that :(

There is Scotia bank in Trinidad, not sure if you can get your case transferred there or how feasible it is. Definitely contact the embassy asap.

there must be a Scotia Bank in Guyana, but the thing is its a $800 flight cost to go there just to make a payment without guarantee there will be available interviews. I don't understand why i cant make a wire transfer, western union, or any other methods of payment.

Hi,

I am currently going through the same situation. Any help would be grateful. I contacted the embassy via email and sent en support email, but haven't heard anything yet.

I also live in FL and my fiance in Cuba. We cannot travel to Guyana just to pay the visa fee.
