So I applied for EAD and AP in May 2018. My current status as i haven’t checked since filing it was “fingerprint review is completed” is this good? I have no idea on how it works and have just been patiently waiting and enjoying my time and kinda let it do what it wants to do. But now I thought I’d ask what’s the normal waiting time lol. My case numbers begin with MSC so I’m not sure where that is and I live in orlando Florida. Anyway , anyone with any Info I’d be grateful for it.

You probably have about 3 more months to wait for EAD/AP.

EAD/AP used to come in at about 90-120 days, but this number has been increasing. I would give it another month or two.

Right now, people are waiting an average of 6 months for EAD/AP. The projected adjudication for June filers is around November or December, so being you filed in May, you'd be probably around a month or so before that.

 

Also, you can try searching for other May AOS or EAD/AP filers in your month, and/or even around your area, to get an idea of others in the same place in line as you.

And don't rely on the statuses alone. I never got an update on the websites until a month after I received the combo card. On the old site, it still says "fingerprint fee received" (one of the first AOS statuses) and AP and EAD say they received my application. I received the combo card in December or so. (Still waiting on my greencard, though). 

You'll get your confirmations in the mail, and then it takes a few days until you get your card in the mail as well.

Now it is saying “name was updated” as my status ,
