what if you have broken up before marriage? will you be denied entry into the USA again? (for a holiday, for eg)

As long as you leave the US once you break up within the 90 days, then I don't see there being an issue if you tried to visit the US at a later date. If you overstayed past the 90 days, then it would most likely cause you problems and may impact your ability to enter again

Depends. If your time out of the US has been short, CBP is unlikely to grant you entry. If it has been a long time (like a year or multiple years later), you're more likely to be let in.

Does it look on the nose if you visit family at home after a year or less? I heard someone say I have to wait three years, and I have no idea where that came from!

No such rule exists and many people visit their previous home on AP regularly.

in the future will I have trouble entering the US if I withdraw my K1 visa?

If this is still in 129F petition state, I do not think you can withdraw it as beneficiary. Your US Citizen partner has to do it. Please be aware that withdrawal request cannot be revoked, it will kill the petition.

It will make it harder for sure. Not impossible. But harder. Because you’ve shown immigrant intent. You will have to convince them on paper that you will go back after a visit and they will be hard to convince with having had immigrant intent. Be positively sure you want to cancel the K1 process. If you the petitioner puts in a request for withdrawal then you change your mind it will make it harder to proceed. People on here have reported not being able to naturalize because they put in a withdrawal request and changed their minds and continued with the K1 like nothing happened.

Did you ask these same questions a few months ago under a different name?

And it looks like you may have mixed up your two usernames in a more recent thread:

Anyway, I find these questions very odd. Why is your decision about whether or not to end this relationship in any way affected by your chances for future visits? If you are not sure about the relationship, end it. Don't stay with this person just because you want to be able to visit the US.

If you were to break up with your fiancé either before you've arrived in the US or shortly after (before marriage), does this jeopardize your chances of visiting the US in the future?

No member can answer what your chances could be since circumstances usually change for every person.
