Honestly, I've called so many times hoping they had forgotten to update the approval status. If we call we will hear the same excuses. It's very unfair because other service centers are processing December 2018 applications.

Wow, this is so not cool!!! I had hope my mother in law would be with us this year with the way things were moving. At this point, I don't even know if we will ever see September.

I was hoping to be at NVC at the one year mark and my mom would be here by Christmas, right now that's impossible (plus with this administration and the changes they want to implement). I still check the site religiously, praying for a miracle. I will call again next week but I think it is a NEBRASKA issue and not the entire system because other service centers are operating smoothly and approving applications in a timely manner.

Like I said earlier individuals who submitted I-130 as early as of May 2019 to Nebraska has been approved because they later filed I-129f, for us who filed for our parents do not have an option to push forward our applications therefore we are left to suffer this long wait.

Hello! I just completed my I-130 packet for both my parents. Do I have to send the applications separately, like in 2 different envelopes and postal payments? Or can I just put them both in 1 envelope and just enclosed the applications in 2 separate folders inside the envelope? Thank you!

Congratulations on your approval. Once your file is sent to NVC, you will receive an email on what your next steps will be.

Yes, you will need to prepare documents again to upload at the NVC stage and submit a affidavit of support.

What service center were you approved by?

Dad's case was sent in december and has been approved by USCIS since July 18th after a RFE from March 19.

NVC received case on August 6th and now i have received case number and invoice. Will take care of those tomorrow and try upload all documents by Monday. Trying to get over the line as soon as possible.

Mom's case which is a August filer on the other hand is awaiting interview for the past 2 months.

Now hoping for the best.

I’m a lurker... I’ve read your comments here and think we both have our cases at Nebraska SC. I just got approval a few minutes ago. It will be exactly one year on the 30th that we’ve been waiting for this approval.

NVC sent me email with approved petition from USCIS and created case and invoice number on wednesday.

Have since paid the invoice and uploaded all required financial and civil documents, now awaiting review from NVC to be documentary qualified. Here's to another 2-3 weeks of waiting again for the review.

RE: Document re-submit.

I got my mother's passport rejected with reason for its being scanned vertical on 8/7/19.

I re-submitted same day with horizontal image.

1st submission 7/5/19

reject notice 8/7/19, resubmit same date, 1 document, rescan so that words appear horizontal

Accept Notice 9/19/19

NOw i am waiting for the interview date.

PLease be careful with your document as it took me 5 more weeks to get my 1 document resubmission approved.
