Yesterday I received case number just for my mother and still no case number for my father yet (yes called NVC and confirmed), is this normal because they received both petition at same time?? one more question regarding AOS, there should be one $120 fee to cover both cases or I have to pay separate AOS fee ?

Thanks

Yes there will be one AOS fee for both parents but separate I 864 forms

I am in the same boat too, we received our case number June 22 2019 and submitted all the forms fees and required documents today.

Does anyone have any idea how long nvc take to review the documents and what's the next stage?

Review normally takes 3 weeks at NVC

After review, if all documents are satisfactory for them then they put you in queue for interview otherwise you resubmit any missing documents or solve any issues that may have been raised.

  • 4 weeks later...

hi

My Submission took 4 weeks to get a reply from NVC, all are good except that I have my mother's passport bio page scanned but not in a horizontally text readable.

they sent me a message in my portal to ask me to replace the document.

I replaced the document 08/07/19 and till not hearing from the agent who review it yet.

I need to get all scanned document Accepted before they can schedule the interview.

Yet I replaced the document same day I got their message and still not hearing from them for Approval.

Now Trump just came out with the "public charge rule" which is confusing because for sponsors who have parents oversea, majority of them are retirees with no active incomes

I am hoping to get to see my document Accepted soon and to receive an interview date to be finish this journal.

Hoping for the best to all of us here too.

MY NEBRASKA FRIENDS

Wow guys, for those of us at Nebraska, I just cannot get my mind around what in the world is going on, we have been in the Month of May for nearly 4 months, that is just ridiculous or is it a Trump tactic to slow down immigration, I am trying to get it but  I just cannot wrap my mind around it. Based upon my estimation, we should have been at NVC had the pace kept up with.

It looks like the NVC is taking more than three weeks to review documents these days...

Speaking from recent experience of just over 3 weeks ago. Could have changed though.

This didn't come as a shock, but NEBRASKA TIMELINE JUMPED BACK TO MAY 23, 2018. According to the timeline it's taking them 12 to 15.5 months to process applications. I think it has been stuck at May for 5 months (if I'm not exaggerating).

I-130's for CR1/IR1 are being processed much earlier because they have the option of filing I-129. I've seen people who submitted I-130 February 2019 getting approvals.

I honestly can't believe this!!! Am I just the only one who think this is a result of DT policies on immigration?

Honestly, I've called so many times hoping they had forgotten to update the approval status. If we call we will hear the same excuses. It's very unfair because other service centers are processing December 2018 applications.
