OMG, that is great! Come on Nebraska, I monitor their site everyday. I think if we lucky, we will be approved by May. With their current pace, that's a big IF.

September filer here, filing for my mom. When I checked today it says case was updated 02/08/2019 but there is no information on what was updated. It still says case was received September 17. Nebraska service center, I will check again on Monday maybe there is a delay with updating the info. I am praying it's the approval notice.

I watched the website everyday and unfortunately Nebraska is still at April 26th. I think they are going to get to us around May. If they did, they are doing things out of order. Potomac though have less cases and they are a smaller center...are movimg super fast.

Well my fingers are crossed that they did actually update my case because the date that the case was last updated changed to yesterday date.

I'm always fortunate to have my cases approved earlier than the advertised date. Here's to hoping my luck continues

What website are you checking?  The general USCIS estimate just gives a month range for each center... Is there another website that shows what month each center is on?

hi all,

I am a September 2018 filer for my mother, ir-5.

priority date 09/21/18.

still waiting on the good news of getting approved from Texas Service Center.

I did not know that Potomac would process quicker.

However, they did not let us choose where our case will be routed to.

I mailed my package to Arizona lockbox and kept thinking that was the center that processing my case.

I was tracking other cases and typically an ir-5 will be approved at the sixth month, and the whole process till parents get a visa is 12 months.

Is that right guys?

Hi Henry,

Welcome to the group! Texas is working on July 18th today and the process a day a week, so it seems like they are 2 months out from your application. I am thinking you should hear something by April. I BELIEVE the services centers are assigned by states where we lived. We don't get to choose. The dates you listed are estimates, for more accurate data's visit https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ to monitor how things are moving along.

Yep the servicing center is assigned based on where you live. When I filed my I-751 it was processed at the Vermont servicing center and that took much longer than the one for western states. It would be good if uscis load balances but hey they aren't the most efficient agency. All the best to everyone who is waiting.

Hi all. So I just got an email yesterday from the national visa center and I can go on to the next step in the process. Fortunately that can be done using the Consular Electronic Application Center, so I can upload my documents there. I intend to do that this weekend. However as you can see it's nearly 60 days since my I-130 has been approved. My advice to anyone waiting is ensure you get a soft copy of the needed documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, IRS transcripts, copy of passport page) so when you get to the stage of using the electronic system you can upload them easily. Best of luck to everyone.
