My fiance will be coming from Philippines.

The I-129F form that I have will expire on 08/31/2018. I have everything filled out and was planning to mail it in on 08/27/2018. Will it still be accepted?

I also went to the USCIS website and checked for new forms but the only ones available still expire on 08/31/2018. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been having problems with passport photos. As of now my fiance is an ofw in Saudi so she can't get passport photos made. I've downloaded an app for passport photos and attempted to print them out at wallgreens, but they have all come out with blue/grayish shadow smearing in the background. We've been trying so many times.

Thanks for reading.

That is still the most current for until a new one comes out to replace it. Have not seen or heard of an update yet. Therefore, get it in while you  can. On the passport photo, she cannot go to a passport photo place like at a mall or something. These people don't give her any time off or freedom at all?

There is no issue for using that form since it is the latest one on the website. For passport photo, your fiancee still need to get it.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah unfortunately she doesn't want her employers to know she's in a relationship because of the customs and culture there. So I'm still trying to come up with a creative way of getting it done.

She doesn't have to let the employers know that she is a relationship. Go out and take a passport photo whenever she have her day off.

I'm not much help with regard to the photos, but as for the forms - as long as you use the most up to date copy that is available on their website, and it's submitted before any other edition has been released, you will be fine. We ran into something similar - they changed the form in April of 2017, right when we were getting ready to file, so I had similar questions.

Håll ut, y'all.

Another idea for the passport photo:

Have her take a digital photo. Someone in her family can take it. Make sure it is in good lighting, best in the morning with the natural light. Use something very white for the background. A freshly painted wall, a screen they use to project on, a bedsheet. Have her email you the photo.

Search "free passport photos online". Use one of the websites there to crop the photo to the correct size. Then it will give you a .jpg file. Take that file to one of the kiosks that print photos. For $.20 you can have it printed off.

I've found this to be the fastest way for us to get the passports. My fiancé has also gone to a mall to get photos but sometimes they hassle him to get the digital version. Most likely these places are also open on the weekend.

Thanks alot it worked! I found a site (idphoto4you.com) and uploaded the photo there. After running it through that site and cropping it to the right size, the background was printed perfectly through the CVS photo machine. Thank you!

Thanks for reading.

I had a similar issue and was able to get good pp photos done online at Walmart .com.
