He was given a 221g.  Saying we needed a co sponsor (I think I cleared that up) but they also wanted more proof of our relationship.  They asked for chat logs from summer of 2017 and more photos but they also said he we must schedule a second interview that I must attend with him.  I guess once they see me they will approve.  They kept his passport and documents.  The notice says that we must wait for instruction from the embassy to schedule the appt through AIS.  I think they need to clear something in the system to allow me to choose a new interview date without paying again.  I emailed them yesterday.  His 1st interview was 8/16 I'm just impatient.

Ah, well prepare yourselves for a not so fun time at this second interview, having them ask specifically for you to attend sounds potentially like a stokes interview. Meaning they don't believe much about the case at all probably. @TBoneTX has some good knowledge on the whole stokes process or what can happen in these types of events if they wish to share some of the knowledge.

Well my original petition was not very front loaded.  And I was planning a second trip but I had a child that was hospitalized and then I couldn't leave her so I'm sure the embassy doesn't really have much relationship info to go by.  My fiance did take the chat logs to the interview but they never looked at them.  I am very confident in my knowledge of our time line.  I would like to believe that the embassy really wants to give us the visa but just want to make sure all is well.  I am trying to hold on to the hope that the embassy would not waste their time or have me fly all the way there if they were not trying hard to approve.

It isn't usually a good sign when the embassy specifically asks for the petitioner to attend. Could be simple like you are proposing or go as far from simple to the Stokes side of things. Hard to tell on my end thats why I hit up TBoneTx, they tend to have good info on this even just for you to be prepared for that possibility because a stokes is almost like an interrogation.

Do you have any idea how long it took for everyone to calm my anxiety on this matter???  Our love is pretty simple.  I have evidence from the one and only trip that I was able to make to see him.  I have Facebook posts and interactions from the time we met until present. Unending phone and chat logs. Letters from friends and family.  Its seems weird that they would go so hard on a simple couple like us.

It can happen but again it might not be the case; but it is something perhaps to be aware of and just be prepared for in case.

Could be something similar to a Stokes, not necessarily a stokes itself. As it is being said Stokes itself doesn't exist for K-1's but for AOS as you stated; but can be a similar type experience.

Well, they can ask us anything they want about our relationship together or separately.  We are experts on our relationship.  I'm hoping, like I said, that they are just looking out for me and want to see that everything is good.  I really couldn't imagine what else they could possibly be thinking.  Guess I'll find out as soon as I'm able to schedule the interview.  By the way, that was what this post was about lol anyone know the process for doing that???

You can try to email the embassy or call NVC to see if they could guide you.

They are questioning the length of your relationship and only one visit.  Be prepared to answer this.  There must be something they want to ask u or see if u knew why they are specific about chat logs.

They will tell u when they are ready for u to schedule appt, in previous years they made the appt and sent it to u.  I doubt it will be before mid September.

This happened to my fiance they gave us a 2nd interview with the same person. We did good and he approves our visa. So if you're telling the truth nothing will go wrong.
