Embassy London interview rescheduled over phone

Hey everyone. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had a call from the embassy in London to reschedule their interview? Mine was for 14th September but had a call this morning to say they had to cancel all appointments for that day. I'm now booked for 13th September but as it was done over the phone how do I receive confirmation? I have sent an email via the help contact form on the website but who knows when they'll get back to me!

Be glad they at least called you to reschedule. The  American Consulate in Casablanca, Morocco never did. My fiances interview was scheduled for today, he showed up but the embassy was shut down. We sent them an email to request a reschedule. What a waste of his money, time and resources. He travelled 5 hours by train last night, stayed in a hotel right next to the embassy...

No way ! 😦 That sucks !  I sent my guy a message asking if he got any confirmation on the new date.  Still waiting for response.  We were scheduled for tomorrow but as you know they changed it by phone to September 4.  I hope you can get a date soon !

They just emailed me with a date I didn't even book! Called a help line provided on the email which was a complete waste of time. I have no idea what to do or even what date my interview is! Stress!!

Thank you. I don't know whats going on with their embassy but hopefully they honor the new interview date they called you with.

Keep emailing them before then. If they don't respond, print the email with the date you didn't book and just have everything ready for the interview for that day.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. It's just frustrating because I've already changed flights and hotel which to change was expensive! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyway hopefully I'll hear something back. I hope you do to! So sorry that happened!

if you receive a call, email from these people: The Visa Information Service 

DO NOT give them any information. They're fake!! My appointment has not changed.

Hi We too got a call today from the embassy. They told me my interview has been rescheduled one week later than my original date. No email confirmation, just a phone call. Stressing us out. Dont know how to get in touch with them.
