Do we need to send any proof of income with the I-130, Im pretty sure we dont need to but wanted to clear that up first before i ask my main question

After the I-130 has been sent, at what point in the timeline will we need to give them the affidavit of support forms and co sponser forms?

Would it be at the interview, or some time before that?

Additional question, im visiting him next month and that is when we plan to get married and then send the I-130 just before i leave to go home at the end of september, just want to confirm is it possible for us to get married in the usa and will they find it weird that we sent the I-130 like a week after we get married? we have been planning this for months

hi

nope, not with the i130. you will need to pay and send the affidavit of support at the nvc stage. as long as the spouse leaves, there is no problem in getting married in the US.

the petitioner also has to file the i864 affidavit of support regardless of income

hi

you should read the guides to understand better the process. first comes the approval of the i130 that takes months, then it takes a few weeks for immigration to send the form to nvc, you will receive the welcome letter from the nvc, and then comes the ds261, and after that comes the payment for the affidavit of support. both affidavits are sent together, each one with their taxes and financial documents for proof. your joint sponsor also needs to send proof of citizenship or green card if he is a resident
