Surprised this sub has no mention of our sitting President's Campaign Chairman and Personal Attorney both being convicted/pleading guilty to multiple felonies yesterday, with one of them implicating the president as an accomplice. Drain the swamp indeed. What a mess.

 

NEW YORK — Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign chairman, was convicted on Tuesday in his financial fraud trial, bringing a dramatic end to a politically charged case that riveted the capital.

 

The verdict was a victory for the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, whose prosecutors introduced extensive evidence that Mr. Manafort hid millions of dollars in foreign accounts to evade taxes and lied to banks repeatedly to obtain millions of dollars in loans.

 

Mr. Manafort was convicted of five counts of tax fraud, two counts of bank fraud and one count of failure to disclose a foreign bank account.

One mention is one mention.  There are thread about a lot of topics that folks ignore that are way more important politically or globally than this one, but so be it, to each their own.
