I think there is a difference between legally immigrating and illegally immigrating.  It has something to do with vetting and background checks along with border inspection.  Has anyone suggested eliminating legal immigration?

I think when an illegal immigrant commits a crime as heinous as the murder of Mollie Tibbets it should be reported everywhere. If a wall is the end result then so be it but a wall does not stop genuine refugees gaining access, all they have to do is turn up at a proper border crossing and request asylum, getting final approval to stay is different. Can't imagine too many Norwegian refugees trying to cross at your southern border they just need use vwp and overstay,  but it will definitely help slow down the stream of illegal immigrants trying to cross.

The left always complains that we oppose all immigration. Let me make it clear. I am all for legal immigration but oppose illegal immigration. I'm sure many here share the same position. So let's end this red herring that thise who oppose illegal immigration oppose all immigration. Many of us here even have family who immigrated legally. It is beyond my comprehension how anyone who came here legally or has family who did could support illegal immigration after going through the process themselves.

i don't have a problem with it being reported, of course it should be reported. a wall could very well be the end result, but a wall is not going to stop tragedies like this from occurring.

and i agree, there are no norwegian 'refugees' so that isn't an issue, and refugee status wasn't why i brought norwegians up. i brought them up as they are trump's preferred type of immigrant, we all know the type of immigrant he wants to keep out (from certain "'$(*&% countries").

I did see a German deported recently, seem that Trump has it in for mass murderers as well.
