my fiance filed a K1 petition for me in June this year with I-184 affidavit of support. From the information I have gathered on this site, she was supposed to use I-134 instead.

please would their be any serious consequence for this mistake with respect to the approval or denial of the petition?

I'll appreciate your contributions.Thanks

Affidavit of support it provided during the interview process, so just make sure she completes the I-134 for the interview, USCIS does not look at financials during their approval process

If supplied during the I-129f petition portion to USCIS, as mentioned they don't review those and most likely won't even look at it. The I-134 is to be used during the interview stage at the embassy.
