I'm doing it for my fiance and going to let her review and hit the the submit button.  The questions are easy, but a couple are tricky worded I feel like. So just want to make sure we answer them correctly.  I don't want to get this far and then they deny us because we were unsure on a question and answered it wrong or something.

When is she/he doing the medical and interview? Prolly our case will be ready at the same time. End of the first week of Sept, maybe.

When she wakes up I think we are going to review the DS-160 once more, she will submit and print the confirmation page.  She will also go to the bank today and pay the interview fee.  After, that I think we can login into the system and schedule the interview and then the medical exam.  I was thinking around the first week of September she could go do the medical and then sometime after that the interview.  I am planning on being there for the interview with her.

That will be great if you go with her! I wanted to do that but I don't have enough vacation hours lol and I'm saving up the hours cos I'll be going home one last time on January and we'll come back to the US together. He's planning to do both the same week, which is in the 2nd week of Sept. We're from Cebu so he has to fly to Manila for that.

Did you guys do the SLEC registration already?

I understand that. I've been saving up my hours all year to go back and see her and be with her again.  I haven't seen her since last November so we miss each other a lot.  We have not did the SLEC registration yet.  We will probably do that today when she wakes up as we just got our case # assigned today.

Are we sure this is correct?  The official exam guide here shows checking both no on those boxes.  I just want to make sure we do it right.

http://www.visajourney.com/examples/DS-160-Example-Form.pdf

Immediate relative =  spouse, fiance(e), siblings, children.     YES is the correct answer

Other relatives = aunts, uncles, cousins     If there are none in the USA then NO is correct

Thanks I see that. I guess the example is wrong.

For this question would it be yes?  It is surround by all no answers so I want to make sure.  Thanks.

Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?

The guides on VJ are not the best which is why I don't recommend them.

Does anyone know what the invoice number is for that you get along with your MNL #?  She said something about you need it for the DS-160, but I don't see anywhere to put it.

Ok thanks.  Once last question about the DS-160.  We uploaded a picture and when we first upload it it looks find in very good quality.  However, when we proceed to to the next step and confirm to use this picture it then changes the picture and it looks blurry.  Is it suppose to do that and is this an issue?  It is very strange I think.  We are also using the right size picture 2" x 2" or 600 pixels x 600 pixels.  So I'm not sure what the problem is.

So we just submitted the DS-160 and the picture is still a little blurry, but I guess that is how it is suppose to be I'm not sure.

As long as the photo was accepted you should be fine.

Ok, thanks it accepted it so we should be good then.

Also, on the confirmation page for place of birth it is missing the providence and only has the city and the Philippines listed.  I went back into the form and click start a new application and it populated it with all my old information from the other form and it shows I did have the providence listed.  So I am not sure why it doesn't show up on the confirmation page.  Maybe it is just a summarize page and when they scan the barcode they can see everythinf on their computer?

Don't worry about the province missing on the confirmation, it's on the DS-160 .    Relax
