Hi all. I am kinda trying to cut corners to make things fast. I am still waiting for my mom's visa to be issued and delivered. She only needs a sticker since she will come on IR5 visa. Will I have to wait for a soonest available date or can I set a next day appointment. Thanks.

Attending the seminar for those with an immigrant visa is determined by age .. if you mom is under 60 she must attend the PDOS seminar before receiving the sticker.   With PDOS passport with visa is required to schedule/attend the seminar.

*PDOS Seminar

All other immigrants must attend PDOS

Adults:  Those 60 and above need only register to get the sticker.

Derivatives:  C
hildren above 12 years of age must attend PDOS, those younger only need to be registered to get the sticker.

Ages 13-19 will attend PDOS Peer Consoling.

Yeah. I meant to say she doesn't need a certificate they give to spouses and fiancées for the guidance and counselling. She does need to do the seminar and get the sticker though.
