Withdrawal retraction

I am curious to know if anyone has requested a withdrawal but was successful at retracting it immediately before USCIS took any action. Please positive feedback only. I am already stressed and have enough regret. I know what the rules indicate but as i said..no actiom has been taken yet. Also i have contacted legal assistance and my congress person.

What are you talking about exactly? Did you file a petition you no longer want to pursue? If that’s what you mean you have a few options. If you used a check to pay the fee, you can ask your bank to stop payment that way USCIS won’t even process your application. If they cashed your check already, then you have to officially call and withdraw your petition.

if you have decided before the NOA-1 to withdraw...just cancel the check or payment and they will send the petition back

Ok. I am stating that no actiom has been taken as of yet for the withdrawal. I do have an NOA1. Pending 4 months.

if you do not provide a I-134 aka affidaivit of support for k-1...the beneficiary cannot get a k-1 visa. Call USCIS and/or send letter retracting your petition.

Yes. Congress filtered that conversation. I spoke with an immigration officer and an attorney and they all stated to send another letter asap. It has only been a few days since the withdrawal request was made.

if the withdrawal was accepted, they will not send a NOA-2 IMO. The file will stay in limbo and no further will be done. If they further processed it, which is what you want now...you should get a NOA-2
