Hello

I am getting a bit nervous...have K3 interview in London on Weds and have everything ready. However I have been looking at the DS230 form part 2 and it asks if I have ever had a SS number and if so to provide it. Well I did have a temp one when I worked in America almost 7 years ago and I have lost it...and my former employer has no idea of what it was either....is this going to be a problem?

Please help calm my nerves!

Not a problem,

Though there is no such thing as a temp SSN, it is issued to a person and is their's for life.

When you do apply for a new card at the SSA office, mention that you had a number before and they can find it for you.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
