Yes that is correct. Remember to pay the fee to get the card also. 

 

I don't remember why (if you posted) just remember once you activate your PR status you are no longer a resident of Canada. SO no more health care, do not use use the GST (if I remember right that comes out in Oct) if you get one. If you're continuing to work get your taxes switched over as a non resident.

I think it's called something different now. HST maybe,  it comes out 4 times a year.  I completely forgot you're not Canadian so it probably doesn't apply to you. If you did get one you would know it

My visa was regressed and they also did ask for some documents which I sent to them. Since today is the day when my visa category is available, I emailed them and they responded to me in the same generic email. CAEC also got updated to today. I guess I should keep an estimate of 2-3 months as well and just wait for their email ? I've my passports so they've to request for the passports
