Hi Guys, im a new member here and hope you could help us.

So this is what happened, my fiance filed K1 visa last week of June, and the requirements he forwarded to Texas does not include LETTER OF INTENT TO MARRY. We’re worried that we get denied because of that. But it’s been almost 2 months now and still we didnt recieve any RFE. Is this a good sign? Please answer. Thank you.

And also if they will request for the letter of intent, does it needs to be original? Bcause im here in Philippines and he’s in US, can scanned signature will do? Thank you.

We got an RFE more than 6 months after are NOA1. I included my intent to marry (beneficiary) but forgot to include my fiancé's side. So that's what we sent (his letter to our high school alma mater that he will propose to me), no formal letter like mine.

Oh ok, just wondering why we still haven’t received RFE, it’s almost 2 months now, so we’re really nervous.

I don't think you'll see anything till 6 or 7 months have passes. I'd have the letters on hand to send  immediately in case of an rfe or noid .

No we sent one from both of us I'm just giving advice. Have letters from both parties ready to respond quickly. I believe with a noid you have 30 days to respond so having both letters ready is important for a quick response

We filed in May 2017 and We didn't include an intent to marry and got a RFE around in Oct 2017. We submitted the letters straight away and it put our timeline back 1 month.

Hi guys! Just to update you guys.. We are on our 4th month now and still no news or RFE. Anyone who has pending application here too? 🙂

Like someone posted before you won't get anything from USCIS until december/january, processing times are taking 5 to 7 months, Check processing times in here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/  do the maths and you'll be able to calculate your likely dates of hearing from USCIS

Hi, did you get approval after RFE?
