Based on vj timelines, I gathered the following data for number of days it takes from NVC receive to case number. Based on this it looks like the average number of days has shrunk to less than 30 days now. I am curious if someone here disagrees with this analysis? if so, why?

Normally it takes upto 8-9 weeks to get case number. Some cases it's quicker than that. It took me almost 9 weeks on July 2018.

I have a vague sense that I read somewhere that some are getting sent electronically instead of by mail. I don't remember if it's this set of papers, or a different stage. If so, that could easily explain the speeding up at this stage, it takes a lot less time to travel via the internet than via actual mail.
