We are at the NVC stage and I am uploading civil documents. I just noticed that my middle name isnt on my birth certificate! It is an original copy from my birth.

However on all my documents, passport, driving licence etc, I have my middle name on it. I'm now confused as how I ever got a middle name onto those documents! Haha! I despise my middle name so it's all good, except for in this situation!

My question is, my application has my middle name on it and also my passport does. Is it ok to submit the birth certificate without my middle name?

Well since that's your birth certificate, it has to be okay because you don't have another one.

If it's an original from your birth, it's a souvenir, not a certified copy of a birth record.  Order a certified copy of your long form birth certificate that shows your parents' names in addition to yours.  If it doesn't have a middle name, submit it anyway.  You'll also be submitting a copy of your passport data page that DOES show your middle name.  No worries.

Ok thanks very much! Also, I paid for the two day premium service for my police certificate and it's taken weeks. I have contacted them and they keep on saying "it's on its way" and it's been three weeks now!

Can I submit my civil documents file and explain in the police certificate section that I am unable to upload as its not arrived yet and I can bring to medical / interview? Or is it easier to keep on waiting and hope it will turn up soon?

You could ask NVC to let you bring it to the interview.
