Good evening All,

I may be worrying about nothing but I went for my interview last week and was approved. I asked for a June 27, 2019 oath date to which the IO put a note on my file to “Please schedule oath for June 27.” It is a week later and I have not received a change from “In line for oath ceremony.” Is there a day when Fort Myers sends out their oath letters on a certain day?

Hi friends, Today I had my naturalization interview in Tampa. There was a lot of people but the wait was not that long. The officer that interviewed was super nice and polite. She started with the 10 questions of the civics test. Then she asked me to write down a sentence she told me and then asked me to read a sentence. All of that was very simple. After that she verified my contact information and asked me about my address and work history. Then she asked me pretty much every question from the application. The whole interview took about 25 minutes and I had to sign some changes she made to my application regarding some information I did not fill out. She said that she was going to recommend approval and that I should be getting a letter for the Oath ceremony in about three weeks. She also said that the ceremony will be in Tampa. I also checked my online account and says that they approved the application. Does anybody know how long it is taking for the scheduling of the ceremony?

Anyway, I'm extremely happy they approved it and I hope the wait for the ceremony won't be long. Good luck to everyone!

Hi!

Congratulations to those who passed their citizenship interviews and to those who are already US citizens! :) I submitted my N400 in August 2018 with pending I-751(July 2017).  I initially got an interview schedule in May for an interview in June in Tampa, but I got a letter from Fort Myers Field Office correcting the letter that it would be in Fort Myers.  They canceled that one, and I got another letter in June for my interview in Tampa on August 13. I will have my interview next week! I am nervous and excited at the same time. :)  I was worrying that they would cancel it again or it was a wrong field office, but I saw this thread. I was relieved that others are also going to Tampa. How did it go for those with pending I-751? My interview is at 7:00 AM. Was there anyone who had his that early, too? Thank you to those who shared their interview experience. :)

Hi and sorry for late reply. For sure there is something going on in Fort Myers Office because they sending everyone around this area to Tampa. Well Tampa working much more faster so that is a good thing. I had my interview in Tampa and my interview was also at 7:00 AM and I was there at 6:40 AM and they opened the doors at 7 and I just wait 5-6 minutes on wait room only. After It was a grumpy lady but interview went well. She was not friendly and she had a serious mean face all the time. May be she did not get her morning coffee yet. She directly explain to me what will happen and she jump the questions. After the interview she said I passed and she said I will get an mail about Oath. She did not give me any date about Oath Ceremony, she basically said "I have no idea" about my when Oath Ceremony will happen question. Interview take place on July 30 and Oath was August 9th. Good luck for tomorrow!
