Good Afternoon All,

I would like to proudly announce that my application was approved!!!! Here are the details of the appointment:

Once in the office the IO asked for my passport, DL, and GC. After she all my demographics such as address, phone number, etc. She then asked my wife's name as well as how many times I have been married. Then I had the tests of reading, writing, and civics.

For the reading I had to read off the tabet, "Who can vote?" and then the writing portion was "Citizens can vote." Then was the civics questions:

1.What was one war that we were involved in the 1800's?

2.What was one war that we were involved in 1900's?

3.Who is the current president?

4.Why did the colonists fight the British?

5.What are the first 10 amendments to the Constitution?

6.Why does the flag have 50 stars?

The IO then went over the questions on the application and added the two dates that I traveled after applying for citizenship. The IO then put everything through the system and approved my applications. Once I got in my car and turned my phone back on I got a text that my status changed to "In line for Oath Ceremony"

I requested June 27, 2019 for my oath date as I have training for work the rest of this week and next.

As a side note, anyone doing their oath in Fort Myers, they do them on Tues and Thurs, mine will be a Thurs, but as I was waiting some people were coming into wait for their oath ceremony. ******As well when I walked in the office there was a sign on the door stating that I believe starting July 2019 that some cases will be transferred to Tampa and Jacksonville to lighten the load. Cannot remember which counties are being sent to which office though.******

Good luck to all those who are still waiting and congratulations to all those who have been approved.

@CDN(ON)-USA(VT)Were any of your biometrics (I-751 or N-400) done in Tampa?  Noticed your profile showed Tampa as your local office.

My biometrics were in Fort Myers, only reason I put Tampa was because Fort Myers was not an option.

We also put Tampa in our profile as Fort Myers was not an option, but surprisingly the I-751 biometric appointment was in Tampa.

Thanks!!! The ceremony itself was abt an hour and a half I would say. You just have to arrive 30 mins earlier to wait till it starts. There were 21 people from 13 different countries with me today.

Yes I believe you can apply for a passport there.. Sorry wasn't paying attention on it, since we are moving to TX in 10 days so I wasn't planning on doing it here in FL, will do it as soon as we move... You can register to vote there too.

You confused owners of the quote here.  Nothing to congratulate me about yet.  It was CDN(ON)-USA(VT) that provided the quote.

Hello friends!

I have some news to share. I received a letter saying that they have scheduled my interview for July 23rd in... Tampa! It's unusual because I live in Fort Myers but it makes sense if they want to lighten the load.

I'm so excited about it! I will keep you all posted about my interview.

Good luck to everyone!
