i'm hoping to send my AOS tomorrow.

just have a few questions b4 i do so.

- i'm sending my I-485 together with I-765 and I-131, do i send it all to USCIS Service Center, P.O. Box 87485, Lincoln, NE 68501-7485 ?

cos my fiance keeps telling me i have to send it all to Vermont.

- do i need a cover letter with every form?

- can someone explain what the I-140 form is? as i thought the EAD was the I-765?

i think thats all for now.

thanx guys in advance for all your help.

Send everything to the Chicago PO box. :guides:

I-140 is not used for AOS in family based cases it is for work visa cases. I-765 is used for EAD in family based cases.

The directions on the I-485 say to send to the Chicago Lockbox - since your EAD and AP are interim benefits based off the I-485, pay more attention to what the I-485 says.
