Adjustment of Status Interview - Proof of relationship

Hello,

My husband and I have a green card interview soon. We started to collect evidence of our relationship, the problem is that we still live with my in laws, so I don't know how to show proof of residency. It could help if my father in law write a letter, and get it notorized? Somebody had the same problem for the interview?

Unfortunately I don't have the driver license... When I used to live in Italy I never had the necessity to drive and now I'm learning so it will take a while. Can I ask for a State ID?

Oh gotcha. If your husband has a driver's license with the same address, then yes getting a state ID is a good idea. Do you guys pay any bills at your in-laws? Also, any important mail with both your names and address are good. And a letter from your dad-in-law is also better than nothing.

We pay them every month since we live there, but the names on the bills are my in-laws. I'll try to get a State ID. Thank you very much!

I just got them to sign it.... we started the letter " I  -insert MIL name- and -insert FIL name- confirm that -insert your name- has lived with us since -insert date- along with her spouse-insert his name- they pay -insert amount- rent and help with groceries. They they both signed it. At our interview they looked at the letter and never questioned us about it. Make sure to date the letter also and also mention the address at which you guys live at also do NOT forgot to state at which address you love at ... yes they just signed it we didnt get it notarized

We did same asked my father to write a letter about us renting from him since my husband cannot work because he did not have social we made deal to not pay rent but do maintence at his property. You should also try and print the tax info about his house my father was our sponsor and we submitted property tax papers to show proof how much the property was worth in assets

Also, if you've got a joint bank account, I'm guessing you will print out statements. The statements should have your in-laws' address on them. Plus you can highlight the transactions showing deposits or transfers to your in-laws for rent/bill payments and point those out to the IO.
