Whose income was unreported? And why was it unreported? Was it unreported because it was illegal or because it was self-employment?

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

The spouse. It was self-employment. It was an oversight using tax software.

Is the USCIS concerned if there's an issue with the IRS? Understanding is that it doesn't impact. One doesn't exist right now, it's purely hypothetical.

Can problems with the IRS pose a problem when doing your marriage-based green card interview? Let's say if income was unreported and IRS does something about it before the interview, could that stop the green card?

If you filed your taxes as married filed jointly, then both incomes need to be included in the return. You may be able to amend your tax return using form 1040X.

Not asking about taxes here necessarily. But is there a concern with the USCIS if there's issues with IRS? There's no problems today, but wondering if this would be a concern?
