Affidavit of Support (Part 5 Sponsors Household Size)

Hello VJ members!

I just have a questions about filling Affidavit of Support.

I am the US citizen petitioner, filling for my Spouse and Son. On Part 5. Sponsor’s Household Size, I am little confused. When they say household size does it mean people who live and dependent on you right now? Should I put #1 in section 3 (for my son)? Do they count as my dependent right now even though they are not here in USA yet?

Thank you VJ members!! 😊

#1 should be "2"

#2 should be "1"- You entered this one correctly

#3 should be "0"

#4 should be "0"

Total household size is correctly entered as "3"

Read the bold part above #1 and above #2

Hello. I have a question again about AOS. My cases just recently approved. I filled two separate case for my spouse and son. Do I have to fill up 2 separate AOS for each of them? OR just one? thanks again

This is NOT correct.  You need a separate affidavit for spouse and son.  On each affidavit, there is one person sponsored in the affidavit.  Count the son in 5 on the spouse affidavit.  On the son's affidavit the son is the sponsored person and the wife is your wife.  The total number will be 3 on both affidavits.
