Sure.  If she has $60,000 in assets that would not be a hardship to sell within 1 year to meet the minimum AND she can show intent to establish a US domicile.

Intent to reestablish domicile for any other country beyond Canada is pretty easy to be honest.

The OP hasn't had a chance to say if a joint sponsor is possible or if they qualify with assets either.

With a joint sponsor, she needn't move back, obtain work, or be separated from her husband.  I think that would ideally be what would work best.  It is what we did, after all.

This might sound like a silly question..but do assets count with what I own outside the country? such as finance in another bank? Or would I have to sell/transfer to the US?
What I was reading from some other people who went through it, they wanted to make sure we/him wasn't going to be on welfare by him moving over. Which we have lots of evidence to show that it won't.

Thank you.  Do you know if that had to be part of the i-130 petition? because we already filed it.

You have to be able to liquidate it within 1 year into USD that is minimum 3x the poverty guidelines.  Sometimes they want 5x the poverty guidelines for foreign assets.

No the I-864 is at the NVC stage and is approved or denied at interview.
