Yes its very hard when case goes out of processing with background check. Congress senate  no one can do anything only federal court can do so i had to pay higher price for that ..hope this time i will be okay with everyone here

I hope things pick up tomorrow for approvals, seems like had a few slow days now. I believe next week NVC will ship out processed visas to embassies, which might mean more room in the storage rooms for approvals.

I'm sure it's more so just people not updating their timelines. End of day yesterday there was only 1 approval I believe, now there's 5 or 6.  Just takes some people a few days to log on and update, and many (25 to 40 percent historically) never do.

Hello! After days of checking mail notification, trackers for USCIS, old and new website and all saying received I decided to call USCIS and speak to a representative. After many prompts and being on hold I spoke to an agent and she informed me that OUR APPROVAL NOTICE WAS MAILED JANUARY 8!!!!! This is so exciting!!! She congratulated me and I couldn’t even think straight to hear how to access the site. It is a little disappointing that no updates are on the sites or tracker but I am sure glad I called! NOA1 is August 8,2018

patiently waiting next next to the mailbox now!

Hi jak can i know which no. You called, my fiance have been trying to call this 800 375 5283 but to no avail, he said, just kept on getting automated answers.

TIA

That is the correct number. When you call don’t press any buttons, the robot will keep talking and then eventually ask you to put in Case number. After that there will be music playing so you’ll have to wait for someone to pick up the phone.

When they pick up they’ll speak Spanish ( just ask for English when they’re done talking).

this method has worked for me many times :)

When I called them recently their prompts changed for this option. After you put the WAC number in, they USED TO say "Press 3 if there is a problem with the case" but now they tell you "If there is a problem, go to website" but pressing 3 after putting in your number still works to get you live person after a wait. They just don't explicitly tell you it is an option.
