Lmao sorry to confuse u. Its just the process stresses u out and u start overthinking as times goes on. We are human lol

Haha no worries, I know it'll work itself out eventually, but I've already had a petition lost in the mail and had my current one delayed by a month because they didn't see the cheque so I'm trying to avoid the "what's next" train of thought 😅Just gotta hurry up and wait a little longer!

When I was doing my timeline I had same question, and the whole NEW/OLD website dilemma. Ultimately I went by doing exactly what timeline filling guide line says, which is to put Notice Date (which tends to match "new" website date)

If that's the most recent info then that's probably what it is then. The new website lists the same date as my Notice Date.

Ah yeah, mine says "received August 27, 2018", but that is the "Notice Date" on my physical copy. The received date on my physical copy is August 22, 2018, so I just figured that August 27 is the date I should probably stick to

@Gc0988  Rule of thumb:

The received date corresponds with the dates on the scans, the old website and on the case tracker app. You can find the receive date in the top middle of your NOA-1 next to your case number.

The notice date is the date that the notice was sent to you, it has no other special meaning. That number is on the top right of your NOA-1.

Submitted date is the date that the case was submitted into the system and is used on the new website, it has no bearing on the scans or the app.

So then if the paper copy of my NOA1 says "Received Date: August 22, 2018" and "Notice Date: August 27, 2018", the old website says "On August 22, 2018, we received your Form I-129F", and the new website says August 27, 2018 for both the submitted date and received date, which date should I be using for the NOA1 in my timeline? 😵

Just pick one! :) It the notice/new site date will make it seems your NOA2 came a bit sooner.  In any case it is 5 days difference, when we are talking about waiting 150-210 days, ultimately nothing.

Here is Official VisaJourney Image (which doesn't match the way current NOA looks) but still

NOA1: August 10th  (old site) / 15th (new site)

NOA2: January 8th

Hey all! We got approved on the old site today (first saw it on the case tracker app). New site still shows received. Waiting on that piece of paper to get excited for real!

Congrats!!!!

Thank you! ❤️

We are pretty shocked because we 100% expected an RFE. We overlooked the multiple waiver filer box and my fiancé is about 75% sure we forgot to check that I'd been to the US before, though the evidence (passport stamps, tickets) made it pretty clear that I had. If we indeed forgot to check it, our caseworker must have been very very gracious/forgiving. My hero, haha.

Now crossing my fingers for fast approval for the rest of you!!

I didn't check the multiple waiver either. I guess they correctly assumed it meant "Not Applicable"  Congratulations, don't forget to update your timeline once you get your paper NOA2!
