Thanks so MUCH!!!! I am really thankful. Can you help me to clarify the whole process for me till the interview? I know after NOA2, then it's the NVC and then our case goes to the consulate, what's the P3 , etc??? Can you  also provide me the list of documents for Guyana Embassy, I have read it in their page but I'd like to know if birth certificates have to be legalized. Thanks so much for your great help.

You should go over to the sub-forum for your region/country. Go up to the blue ribbon at the top of this page, select forums, then scroll down 3/4 of the page and find your sub-forum. Begin asking questions of others who are going through the same embassy as you. I don't know what all your embassy requires as I can only supply the P3 when I have one.

Also, tap on your flag in your profile in the left column of this page and look for items that can help you.

Also, check out

 for additional help.

Hello!!! Those are great news!! Congrats!!! Can you provide me the link of the new website? Thanks in advance!!!

Old site (also the data source for all 'USCIS case tracker' apps): https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

Newhttps://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ (you have to create an account and add your case # to it)

Neither is more reliable (and it's very possible you won't see anything on either, and will have to just wait for the physical mail). For a while it looked like they were phasing out the "old" site, but that trend seems to have reversed itself and there are still lots of cases that show up on only one (or much earlier on one than the other).

Income and Assets

I was looking at things the Petitioner needs to provide as far as proof of income. I can understand getting a letter from your employer and bank in regards to your employment, salary, etc.. but if someone makes above the limit, do we really need to provide our current checking account balance, numbers of stocks and bonds we have, etc? If someone makes say $100,000 a year with no dependents but only has a few hundred bucks in their bank account, can that be grounds for denial?

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript (link is currently not working do to the Schumer/Pelosi Shutdown)

I printed off my bank statements direction from my banks website and presented them at the interview. Use the 1040 and all schedules in the absence of the IRS transcripts.

You should not have a problem at the interview with his salary. Just have the letter on corporate letterhead and signed by HR or his supervisor.  Savings has nothing to do with this because the salary is more than enough. I don't see a denial for anything that you have stated.

There was a small handful of August approvals so far. Someone with NOA1 date of Aug 15 got approved recently.

It seems though like they almost gave up on updating their websites, and people just have to wait to get mail at home.

We haven’t received NOA1 hard copy either because of post office delivery person delivered wrong address two times.

Didn’t you get case number via email or text message?

I called USCIS and they gave me my case number, they will resend my NOA1 hard copy, I’m going through the same thing you are, for whatever reason the post office delivered to the wrong address. Hoping we get the NOA2 soon. 🙂

Hi! When you say “someone with NOA1 date of August 15” do you refer as the Day the perdón got the first letter or the day that they have applied? Thanks

Neither really. NOA1 date is the date on your paper notice. It is usually close to "day then person got the first letter"

Congrats that's so exciting!! :D (I'd probably block the names out of the doc too just to be safe though)
Was the estimate on your timeline pretty accurate? I'm hoping for an earlier date after all the unnecessary delays my fiance and I have had, but I also know we pretty much gave up our spot in line each time (my signature has the details 🤣)
