Thanks! And yeah but its making me anxious lol hopefully within the next month we have approvals! It seems like they have been approving alot lately? Gives me hope lol

yeah i am driving myself up the wall

there was a line in some movie, and i am paraphrasing it, but the line was something like anticipation of death is worse than death itself

in this case anticipation is killing me lol

They are processing August in a weird way.  Why would they skip the beginning? 🤔

They don't go day by day. Different officers take different batches of petitions. Some may look through petitions faster than others, which is why people don't get approved in "order".

ok that makes more sense. it also may explain why there are still some May-July filers who haven't been adjudicated yet.

still doesn't make me feel better though 🤣

I feel you will receive you will definitely receive your NOA2 by the end of this month :)

I would honestly not worry if someone before your date gets approved because like I said before, they don't approve in order. Just go on with your life, make yourself busy, and your NOA2 will be on its way before you know it, since you won't be thinking about it so much !

???

What MsNina means I think is that they do not go in order 1,2,3,4,5  ... but each worker grabs a stack "a batch" So one guy gets 1-100, another gets 101-200, another 201-300, etc etc as an example. If guy who grabbed 201-300 starts working on his batch earlier, you will see approvals like we do seemingly starting in the middle of the month.  By the way, websites are still not updated for neither old, nor new. I keep looking at scanned approval just to make sure it is real.

As with all the USCIS mysteries, it is inconsistent. While I got my NOA1 notifications as expected back in August both message, and e-mail, my NOA2 just showed as a New Year present via USPS. No online notification of any kind. I keep checking both sites still out of curiosity and for my case they both still show "case received" and nothing else. Other people report updates on new site, but I haven't seen the ones for old.  Why? Nobody knows. No rhyme or reason, just speculations.
