I wonder if things will start to slow down in a big way later this week and next week due to the holidays? I'm sure a lot of their folks will be taking vacations.

Seems like things already slowed down. After a happy slew of approvals on Friday,  we seem to be in a dry spell today. Still it is a good that things are moving along.

@greenbaum, Thanks for replying :). I just updated my timeline. My fiance is in Dubai. When I filed, I put Dubai for embassy. After sending out the packet, I came to know that k-1 visas are only processed at Abudhabi. I hope they will automatically forward the papers to Abudhabi or should I call and notify them?

You'll know when you get your case number. It will begin with three letter followed by 10 numbers. The first three letter is the embassy that the file is assigned to.

Maybe they approved a lot people who aren't on VJ so we have no way of knowing that :)

My NOA1 is Sept 6th, so I have little waiting to do. Really excited that end of July is already getting approved ! End of August/beginning of September approvals are almost here !

I agree with you. Our NOA1 received date was August 22 while our notice date was August 27. Old site says August 22 and new site has no date, i don't know why. Hope to hear great news by end of this month or by mid January as a birthday gift. I'm so excited to hear something from the USCIS after I saw the first August approval....😊😊😊

Yes, a couple of days ago I think. You can check the Igor's list for the list of approved petitions here on VJ. But we're not sure if it was an expedited petition or a normal one. One of our VJ member tried to messaged him privately to ask if he expedited it or normal process but still no feedback nor update. If it's a normal process then we're good to go...😉

But I don't think it is normal petition. If you notice the gap between date sent and Noa1 date is pretty long. Person in profile picture is military. It might be they put it date for NOA1 when they physically got it and not the date that is actually on the NOA1, or it is expedite.

Nevertheless, it is good to see more and more July and June members get approved. Especially considering how much fewer July applicants are on VJ, each approval counts for a lot. August also picked up some we are now nearly 200 heavy.

Just saw this on https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ .  For a while now, it has been saying 5 Months to 7 Months, guess it changed today :)

How clever of them to not change the "7th month" part as that would've resulted in bunch of people suddenly calling them about outside of "regular process" still good to see change going in that direction.

It briefly popped up to 5.5 to 7.5 this summer, actually.

I saw this on the July filers thread as a july approval. I believe it was expedited.

@Catherine6 first NOA1 dated August, so it should belong to August filer, right? Sadly some said it was expedited and not normal processing. Still hoping for our August family to have approval this early January... fingers crossed 😊😊. Just a little anxious and excited seeing late July getting approvals...weeeee.

Hi everyone.  I'm new to this group.  My  I-129F form was received on August 3, 2018.  My notice date was August 8, 2018.  My fiance lives in Nigeria.  We are so ready to be in the same place.  I have always lurked on this website (even before I created a profile) but never posted before now.   Since mid-to-late July filers are starting to hear, I decided now was the time time post and hopefully celebrate good news with everyone else.  I hope that the holidays do not slow things down too much.  My fiance and I hope to have a wedding in NC in late July.  Do you all think that will be possible?  I will be praying for all of us.  The waiting has been hard but we are getting super duper close...
