I got a notification from USCIS saying that they last took an action on my case on 11/7/2018. Does this mean anything? Good? Bad? I'm driving myself crazy :P

It only means that they have touched your record and they continue the processing of all background checks and the adjudication of your case. No one can tell you any certainty when your approval will come. More patience is needed. This is good.

Neither me or my fiancé are from the UK, but I submitted my fiancé’s police clearance with the original packet , do they need mine as well ?? I’m confused

The beneficiary will need a local police clearance as well as any from any country's that he/she has lived in for more than 6 months from age 16. Refer to your Embassy website for more details. Also, select your flag in your profile on the left column and it will take you to your country's page where upon you will find information that others have posted concerning your interview process in your country.

Until you record is "touched" you will not receive an email. We have seen some get emails and some that don't. Hard copies in the mail we see 98% of the time. The 2% are lost or undeliverable. You should get a snail mail copy.

Every 2 weeks I get both SMS and e-mail from USCIS directly

image.png.8c60f8f04d486ce7bf585dc76b7a94a2.png

The date doesn't change. That date neither recieved date, nor NOA1 date, it is a about a week after my NOA1 date. I know a few others get same type of notice. I get them exactly every 2 weeks on Thursday, so I am expecting one this week in 2 days. I believe they are result of me signing up to be notified on "new" site, but I am not sure.

For those filing for their fiancé in the Philippines. Here is our CFO experience. (CFO is only for those in Philippines seeking immigrant visa.. including k1)

We scheduled her CFO seminar early to build her confidence during this type of interview, as well as have plenty of time to fix any issues if anything went wrong. She passed and the consular was impressed with her and how confident she was and how much she knew about me. Others there weren’t so lucky... even some that already had VOH. This is a very important step and if you don’t pass this seminar you will not be allowed to leave the Philippines.. even if you passed the embassy interview and have your visa..

The CFO she went to was the one in Clark Freeport zone in Angeles city.
Here is what they asked her:
He first asked for 2 ID Cards:
1. Has your fiancé been married before?
2. How did you meet him?
3. Does he have children?
4. When will you go to the US and why?
5. What do you love about him?
6. How many times did he come to visit you?
Then he asked for Parental Consent form,  divorce decrees, proof of relationship, and he look at the I129F. While hes checking those he asked if she wanted more kids. He also looked at the album she made of our pictures and was impressed. ^_^ Everyone was nice there. They didn't keep any of the documents, they returned it all to her.

Some of the other Filipina there were denied. Some don't have cenomar, some don't know why their fiancé got divorced , .. Some don't know anything about their fiancé and were told  "get to know your fiancé first before you come here". And I guess you can hear others during their interview and on one He even asked her " everything has a reason and you SHOULD know everything about your fiancé, so how can you not know the reason why he got divorced?" And she just said "sorry i don't know" another was fussed at by the interviewer. He asked her if her fiancé had met her parents and she said no because he cant travel to Davao. But the consult got mad and said "Don't tell that to me! he travel and ride a plane and now youre telling me that he cant travel to go to Davao to meet your family!?" Shes also the same Filipina without Cenomar.

So EVERYONE please take the CFO Seminar Interview Seriously. You can not leave the Philippines without this complete. And despite what others have said.. if your successful here they will give your certificate. If you don't receive a certificate.. they aren't confident in your relationship. We have not even received our NOA2 yet. And we got our CFO certificate in hand. My fiancé was Confident and knew everything about me. And she took it seriously.

Oh also, they will take a photograph of you at the CFO to print on your Certificate... we didn't expect that and my fiancé was not satisfied to her picture lol. Do what you want with that bit of info haha.

Thank you very much for this information.  I was thinking the CFO was just something that they had to attend and listen to a bunch of people talk.  I didn't know they asked questions and you need documents as well.  I live here in the Philippines with my fiance and we live in Angeles City so my fiance will be going to the CFO in Clark.

I wish I understood something. I created an account on both new and old websites but forgot to visit the old one by signing in. Y'day I tried just to find out I was locked due to inactivity and had to change password. Ok, done. I believe it is the old site that normally sends out emails and because of that I got none so far. But can I tell whether I am subscribed to e-mail notifications at all? I press 'on' and nothing happens, I press 'off' and nothing happens again.

Did you submit your email authorization using form G-1145 e-Notification of Application Petition Acceptance? Or maybe in the I-129f you added your email address. If so that's why you are getting notified.
