yeah it seems like the times given are a little off , I started stalking June and July as well , our noa2 seems so close yet so far away

yeah..my although my NOA1 is September 6th  I still hope I'll be like those May filers who started getting their NOA2 while April was still getting approved. Maybe I'll get my NOA2 when this August comes close to the end...😰

I think I like the older website better, or maybe I’m just not familiar with navigating this one. Also when I check the processing times for I 129f visas it tells me they’re working on cases from March, when there’s people on here from May being accepted, maybe that’s an automatic system that hasn’t been updated correctly...

The date difference from today to what USCIS shows is 218 days, it used to be pegged to 210 for a long time. Not surprisingly 210 is 7 months x 30, which was upper boundary of their "normal processing time" seems like they added a few days to it, and increased time to 5.5 to 7.5 months.  I do not think it accurately reflects what they are actually doing.

I agree, I think they are moving quicker than they say.. from time to time I check the timelines for approved petitions and most are getting approved within a 5 month time frame

My guess would be that they want to try and account for possible delays, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll actually take that long (but on the flip side it could also take longer, depending)

It seems nothing about the K-1 visa comes quick or easy. Back when I filed the I-129F, waiting for the NOA2 felt like it took forever. My NOA2 came 6 months after I filed. Now, my wife is adjusting from K-1 to get her Green Card and it is looking to be around a 12-15 month wait. That 6 month wait seems effortless now. :D

Hello everyone,

Back to the waiting times, finally my fiancé and I officially received hard copy of our NOA1, Happy yay!!! Received date 12 Oct and Notice Date 18 Oct. SO date of our NOA1 that I should put on my timeline is 18 Oct instead?

in VJ, I did not really notice if the expected date of NOA2 has been changes (our NOA2 ETA: 18 April - 25 April), maybe since everyone found out theirs changed for a few days earlier I will have to take a note of mine move forward :)

As advised, I already signed up account in USCIS and keep monitoring my USPS informed delivery.

Thanks for this helpful forum :)

Glad you finally got it. I would love to be a fly on the wall there and understand how they managed to lose your packet for 2 month so that received date is so much later after you mailed it. And yes, notice date, as Olichka said, is your NOA1 date.

In other news seems like last couple of days were slow days. Week started great with first few May approvals then came to a screeching halt. :(

Let’s just hope that there were May approvals , but these prior just either didn’t post it in here or aren’t registered on VJ 😂 I mean someone definitely had to be approved today !

Yay, thank you!

Trust me, been dancing in the office when I received the pic of the package from my fiancé hahahahha

I will change my NOA1 timeline accordingly hehehhe..

Yeah, still unfortunate for us to get it after 2 months, but it's alright now we have it on hand. I checked on October Igor's list, NOA1 approx. 39 entries and August filers almost 5x, so maybe that was the one slowing down mine, backlog.

Anyway, I still can see back on N0v-Dec last year some VJ-ers still not receiving NOA2. Were they not updating their timeline?

Hopefully, our processing time won't be that slower phase. I will be on the *nervous* period checking the update case after 4 months I guess, will relax a bit now and do some travels while waiting NOA2.

I'm so glad i found this forum and to be one of the August 2018 filers.

We filed our petition August 20 and uscis received it August 22 as the NOA1 stated. We receive an email 3 days after filling and receive NOA1 10 days after. I hope our application will go smooth and no RFE. Me and my fianće have been together for almost 8 years now, we just got engaged last February on her 5th vacation here in the Philippines. We hope to end this LDR and make it CDR... LOL. All is well. JUST NEED A LITTLE PATIENCE.

More May filers got their NOA2 today , does this mean we’ll start seeing approvals by January??

Aye, I saw a flock of May and April approvals today. May is still in very early stages though. With A bunch of Holidays coming up soon and people will be taking vacation days etc, who knows how much of a slow down it will put on the process. I saw a post from someone who got to have a nice chat with USCIS officer, who allegedly told them they goal is to clear desk of of most apps up to June. I do expect them to process some of the June apps before year end. Hopefully they will keep up the pace for now.
