Why does VJ show that CSC is processing petitions with April 7th NOA1 date if May filers are starting to get approved ? Is it showing the approvals backwards or something ? I thought USCIS processes the cases in the order they are received. Shouldn't it show that petitions with NOA1 of at least April 20th and on are being processed?

Who the heck knows. Awhile ago that number was stuck at March 10 for weeks. It is some sort of algorithm they are using, and I am not sure it was ever explained or documented. Might be something as simple as "average time for the last 15 approved petitions" I'd ignore that. The little graph though seems handy. Just remember all of that is based of people entering data and some make mistakes (see that October approval for example) which skews things.

This graph.

csc_i129f_approvals.gif

Note he how it never goes above ~75% cause about 20% don't bother update their timelines, and another 5% do not get their approvals/stuck in limbo.

We never get these emails! I’m pretty sure I signed up for online communication. Any idea what specifically to do to get them?

And yes! Can’t WAIT for that day too.

I didn't do anything special except send in that form. Ive been getting the emails since the day they created and sent the NOA1. Afterwards I created an online account on the USCIS website, you put in your receipt number and create a profile. Maybe that's what sent the other emails. Try that if you haven't created the account yet.
