What is the CFO seminar?

I love the idea of being able to get something done during this long wait. I need to take a close look at what comes next after NOA2. Where do I look for that?

I’ve read so much here, but this is actually my first post!

CFO Seminar is what Beneficiaries in the Philippines have to do as part of the process. Is just an information seminar and small interview to make sure the beneficiaries aren't getting taken advantage of or used and that the relationship is real. They give them additional information on who to contact if they get abused or in trouble once they leave. They give them a certificate after seminar and a sticker in their passport once they have visa. And before they can leave the Philippines they are checked for this sticker and certificate. ^_^ As for what to do after NOA2, you'll schedule your interview and medical, and complete your DS160, as well as prepare the I 134 Affidavit of Support ^_^

Look at the official website, this is a checklist of what your fiance will need after NOA2 when he goes to his interview. Good luck !

By the way, our timelines are the same !

On the USCIS official website?

Ohhh, yeah, we are the same! That’s awesome!

I’m the beneficiary so it will be my interview, clear across Canada. Frustrating that it’s so far (twice as far as Albuquerque where I will be moving) but I’d go anywhere for this love of mine 😍

That's the U.S Embassy in Canada official website. You will be interviewing at Canada right?

I know...it's so frustrating. My fiance is in Ukraine, but I hope I can visit him and go to the interview with him. It sucks that he's SO far :( But the waiting is worth it ! We have less than 5 months left...not that bad !

Just stumbled upon your post... oh, a fellow burqueño! That's awesome!

My fiancée is also from there and I can't wait to move back and eat my breakfasts at the Frontiers again.

Tell me... how do you cope with life without green chili?

Still struggling to receive our hard copy of NOA1 here lol, had requested them to resend the document, not received yet, have been checking USPS informed delivery daily lol, almost 4 days since our last call to USCIS. Anyway, the good news, my fiancé is coming in 100 days to go LOL. so at least something to look forward to while waiting the visa process.

Why not schedule an InforPass meeting and they can print one while you are there.

USCIS provides a free service called InfoPass that allows customers to schedule an appointment with USCIS through the internet. [3] Whenever possible, customers or their representatives who reside in the United States (domestically) should use InfoPass to schedule appointments if they would like to discuss their cases in person at their local USCIS field office. Customers and their representatives may also use InfoPass to cancel or reschedule appointments.

No way! So cool to find someone else from ABQ!!

I’d have to say that I’m not addicted....yet. BUT I’m working on it! Soon I’ll have green chile on everything, like my Love.  My tolerance is improving all the time.

I’ve spent the last 2.5 years learning as much as I can about Albuquerque and NM overall. A lot of seeking information on bodies of water because I am an ocean person moving to the high desert. Can’t get much different than that! My 7 year old daughter and I were just there for 39 days and we both did great adapting. I was shocked. Lots of warning about altitude but I haven’t had so much as a nosebleed over the course of 5 trips since 2016. I feel pretty lucky in that regard.

Awesome to meet you! The more connections in our new home, the better, right?
