Update up to today, we still have not received the hard copy of our NOA1, I doubt it til Friday evening we will receive it. My fiancé is planning to call them tomorrow afternoon to request them to re-send another copy. But I insisted him to request at least to get the Case Number by phone so we can check online while waiting them to resend hard copy. The problem, maybe they won't give us thru phone for security reason. Is there any other way to ask them to give info to us than phone? His email address and phone number registered in their system, however I lose hope if they will send it via email or mobile no. Anyone could give us advise, most appreciated.

im sure you did already, but just in case, can you double check your email address that you have submitted and also the mobile phone no. i mean maybe you mistype something ? this is i am assuming that you also submitted G-1145 (E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance) .... because if this is just a case of noa1 lost copy... then how come they also have not sent you e-notification ......... check your spam mail too...

Hi Phil,

Yes, already double checked both and all good. Checked spam folder also nothing. No notification received, and yes we did submit G-1145. But, officer said they have our case number and transferred the case to California. It is the matter we don't have it proof on hand for NOA1 yet and not be able to check our update case online :( Getting really frustrating now almost 2 months since we submitted our petition. We hope it won't effect our NOA2 timeline, God knows, NOA1 not known yet :(

Hi.. My interview will be in singapore.. As i live and work here.... I should check my profile.. Sorry about that ..

Update: i just checked... My profile is Philippines because im from Philippines... But my timeline consulate is Singapore... Unless i filled profile wrongly?

Your profile should be the country where you interview will take place. So if it's Sigapore you need to go back in and change. We look at the flag of the country in your profile and that tells us where country you are processing your visa in and this is how we determine what information we provide to answer your questions.

BTW you do not need the NOA1 for ANYTHING. Don't waste your time as it is not need for any further steps. If you still want to get a copy, that's up to you and you can use this link to get to the right department.

I'm a little confuse. Will you do you interview in Singapore or in the Philippines? Once I know that I can answer you question. Your profile states that you are interviewing in the Philippines so I just want to make sure with my answer.

You can interview in Singapore. Follow the instructions in this link and also on the page you referenced in your original post.

Hi, yes I understand but having known everybody get their copy and acknowledgment where it should be while we are not, making us not sure about our petition status, and couldn’t check our status online. We also couldn’t figure out a timeline estimation for our NOA2. At least a little relieved that they really had received our case😞

That completely understandably, and it also makes one worry what if RFE goes missing later on. Not to mention, you do need to know your "receipt" / case number to be able to check it online.  I hope you get it soon!

Hi Thanks yeah!

finally my fiancé call USCIS again and able to talk to 2nd tier officer. He assured us that our petition is in queue to be reviewed in California, nothing to worry. They will resend the hard copy and we should receive it max 10 days. However it’s against policy to give receipt no by phone email and sms. So we shall wait in 10 days. He also mentioned it won’t affect our NOA2 timeline! God knows, hopefully this time we will get it on hand soon.

Nice, hopefully your fiancé was able to verify the address and you signed up for informed delivery with USPS so know about the upcoming mails. It is scary about the mail getting lost like that.

Did you file the G1145 with your petition? We did and we received our receipt number by email and text message. Then a few days later received the hard copy. We’ve also been receiving email every 2 weeks if our case has been touched or not. This is why they even advise on their website to file the G1145 with your 129f or any other forms you may be filing.

Yes, we already submitted  G1145 along with our petition since beginning. That’s it why quite frustrating such unfortunate happened to us.
