Thanks a lot Olichka!!

Greenbaum, sure I will have a look! Thanks so much!!

i tried and found 15 similar timeline, even they submitted after mine, they already received NOA1. It seems like i am the only August filer didn’t receive NOA1 yet😪

I am down down down! Totally miserable having known in other page that if we did not received NOA1 After 30 days there are only two possibilities; they are missing our package or there is something wrong but we didn’t get notified by mail. How can I thinking positively this time, 40 days+ passed, another waits without knowing the exact status😪😪

Did they cash your check? If yes then they have your application but without NOA1. So give them a call to confirm they have your file and that there is a NOA1 forthcoming. It could very easily gotten lost in the mail. This is not the end of the world.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Yes, ACH is how they take money out (not via cashing a check) I wonder if his bank somehow considers it to be fishy and stalling. Might be worthwhile to clear it with the bank too if it doesn't show as cleared. Once it is cleared, expect to get e-mail/sms notification within a day or two assuming you submitted a form  for that.

I got an email update from USCIS yesterday. Nothing I didn't know, but nice to get a little unexpected nudge that I'm still on the list. Anyone else get this email?

Yes, I did as well, even with same date on "last action" of Aug 16. It doesn't mean anything, but it is better than nothing. Guessing we will be getting one of those for another 5 months or so.

After waiting for a month it turns out our petition never made it to the lockbox facility because of a storm and the post office now has returned it to my fiancé. Looks like I'll be an October filer instead.. Frustrating to get setback over a month but at least there was nothing wrong with the application that held it up.

Oh wow, that is very frustrating, hopefully your filing goes smooth, regardless what month you are in.

Thanks. Check has been cashed out last Friday. We are now expecting to hear NOA1 sometime this week. Crossing my finger!😃

That is a critical set back.

Greenbaum Tips: When sending any documents to a Government agency ALWAYS send it with tracking. This way you are able to follow your package each day and it will help avoid delays or miss deliveries.

I have always understood it as needing to be 2 separate statments. One from petitioner and one from beneficiary sent with the packet. And then another set resigned and dated closer to the interview date. This is actually the first time I’ve seen anyone mention 1 signed by both.

Well you need to send seperate statement as i have seen so far everyone here from last one year. Because its an affidavit . And  still its better you  make both of them now and sign and send it along with photo copy of the NOA1. Just to avoid any delay.  My previous case was delay and i got NOA2 after 403 days and its double time of any normal case processing .so i would recommend you to send now.   Thank you

There was no RFE.   And they wont issue anymore RFE.  They reject my case and i had to sue the uscis because they took more than one year on my case with no reply
