Does it show non-immigrant visa on top the white window on CEAC site? If it shows non-immigrant as opposed to immigrant it should be ready to hatch really soon.

So, it goes from Immigrant Ready to Immigrant AP, then to Non Immigrant App Rcv'd to AP then Issued?

 

Note: Asking for a friend 😝 (but no really lol asking for a friend. She had her interview 2/20 and is on Immigrant AP)

I believe that is right. Some steps can be quick so you might miss a few transitions. It does tend to seat at administrative processing for a few days. Some embassies take longer.

So what would cause someone like my visa to be held up at Immigrant AP and others who interviewed after me already get ahead :(  I'm happy for them... of course.. but what is wrong with mine.... the interview was so quick and the consular seemed satisfied with everything... didn't even ask for a single document of evidence. :(

All good questions  I'd like to know why mine isnt even at NVC yet and others have visa in hand in less time than I've waited

Nobody with an NOA2 date after you has visa in hand yet. As of now, the latest NOA2 date to make it to NVC is a Jan 29th date.
