Mine was for a separate letter of intent from beneficiary, which they received 1/28. The letter we sent was exactly one sentence long, so now I'm like...how long can it possibly take to read?!!!!! 🤣 Maybe my adjuticator is on holiday? Lol.

Ah that's super annoying, it's frustrating how they're so thorough about some things, and then miss completely obvious things... I know they're human but the inconsistency makes me so nervous 😰We don't even know if the same person who originally looked at our petitions are going to look at them with the addition of the RFE content...might be that one person is very by-the-book and so they have a large pile of RFEs to get through and the quick ones are the one-offs from other officers...or maybe not, we will never know 😅

So we called USCIS on February 4th spoke with an operator who had no information. Then magically an RFE was sent very next day lol issued Feb 5th received on the 8th. Add us to the request for more evidence of meeting club. Just baffles me that including a plane ticket and a notorized letter of intent to marry with a statement from both of us on ONE page does not provide their one meeting requirement. If we had to be both present to sign the letter in front of the notary yes we met. I am just thankful it only took us 3 days to receive it, now to wait for the RFE reply .........😬😐🤞

Ugh, that's so frustrating! Welcome to the post-RFE waiting club, and good luck. 🙂

RFE was my fiance's letter of intent. He wrote a letter that I included but now I just included some statements where he specifically wrote out exactly that statement and it's been sent off...🙏🏼 Countdown to approval (again)

it seems like a lot of people get hit over these letters. I wish there was a section on VJ that I could post all my formats I used. I designed them from a "government employee" perspective and had no issues with any of them. I feel like having these available and easy to find would prevent many RFEs in the future..

I agree.  I believe in sticking to the basics.  2 separate letters.  2 separate signatures.  The same wording and you can't go wrong.

Yea. I actually doubled up. I did two separate letters, but both had two signature blocks, one for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary, order appropriate for each form. Statement of how we met also had two signature blocks. Signature blocks had 3 lines, one line for signature, one line for printed name, and one line for date. There was no denying that either party was not in agreement of the "contract" laid forth.

He thought by adding his feelings it would be better ....nope😂😂😂 but it seems like this was the RFE for intent letter month
