the online thing is not updated i checked it everyday and nothing but today i got the letter in the mail so i was pretty shocked too

I got my NOA2 in mail and I notices that her A number is messed up by the printer as well as her name on it. Will I need to file this somewhere and do I need to call them back and request a new copy? Will I need her A number and official spelling of her name from this document? Or I can just ignore this? 

 

Also the Valid date on it is from 1/29/2018 to 5/28/2019 what is this date for? Valid for what? She needs to enter by this date? Please help.

As far as I know you’ll need the NOA2 for AOS and the A number is important for this. I would call USCIS to say it arrived in the condition it did and request a new one. 

Apparently it’s a form and a cost to request a new one if lost. In your case I would chance just calling them and stating the condition you received before doing that. And if I recall someone did the AOS without a copy of this but I can’t find where that was.

Also the valid date is the date the beneficiary is advised to have their interview completed by. 

 

I would recommend removing the name and address from the NOA2 you posted for privacy reasons.

My NOA2 has the same issue, but the A number is ok.  My fiance's last name is obscured.

That is odd. I had tonnes of trouble loading my case to new site but old one working for me.  There is also another one that I got a link to on this forum a few pages back.  It's great.  I'll see if I can find link .  I downloaded the USCIS app from Google play.

when I try this https://my.uscis.gov/account it brings me to the log in page. Try.

For all the August approvals let's hope our cases get to NVC quickly. They are so far behind close to a month for it to possibly be sent to embassy

Just follow the thread for the NOA2 to NVC thread. People who got noa2 Jan 2 just go theirs sent to embassy today. They only send them in batches usually twice a month.

There is one reported on Igor's list. It's from September though. 

I'm sure you'll hear something back by the end of the week!
