Thanks for all the great feedback.  I will be using VJ only to do my K1 visa packet.  If you can think of anything that happened while you were going thru the process please post it, so that all of us new folks can be mentored with your knowledge.  Thanks in advance.

Are you familiar with the PI portal?  It seems PI has some unique factors......good luck

I have another guy I know in Dallas that paid over $2,500 for a attorney in Dallas to do his K1 and it still took him 10 months, so I do not think he received that much help from the attorney with his K1 packet.

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I started reading things here after my first visit with my then-girlfriend, now-fiancée went really well and wanted to look into how to get her here to stay. And saw a lot of posts about lawyers or RapidVisa doing things wrong, and responses saying that for most people there was nothing involved with the fiancé(e) visa process that you couldn't do yourself. So that's what we did.
