I know that we should receive our NOA2 around the beginning of September. Could we go ahead and get all the information needed for the AOS? I am going to fill out one for me and my parents are also. Is there anything else I can go ahead and have ready to move the process along faster?

Another thing to consider is that USCIS updates forms all the time. I mean it's not too big a deal to rewrite stuff on a new form, but why risk sending an outdated form by mistake. And as the other poster has stated things can change before you get to AOS. Maybe a better job comes along for you, maybe you end up moving, etc. I was thinking the same thing. My fiancee just got her visa approved and I'm hot to get the AOS ready to file also because she will be here soon. Passport should be in her hand next week, then Maybe a month or 2 after that she will fly over with me after she gets everything straight before she leaves her home country.  I have reviewed the AOS forms, and it doesn't seem too bad after making it thru the I129F, so I will wait til she is here more than likely.

Your best bet is to concentrate on the packet 3 and packet 4 if you require them for Canada. I managed to get from NOA2 to Interview in about 43-44 days by having everything ready to roll. I'm not too pressed for AOS as we will be together then, and the time won't matter as much, but I'm still going to move things along at a reasonable pace, but not like I did for the I129F.
